United Sports Travel was founded out of the belief that world travel can serve as a platform for athletic acceleration, personal growth, and some of life's greatest memories. Our trips are carefully planned, scripted, and executed down to the minute; however, what makes each experience so unique is our dedicated team members who are committed to providing the most outstanding experience to each participant on our trips.

Kevin N. Hoover
Founder & Executive Director

Kevin, a native of Bethesda, Maryland, founded United Sports Travel in 2008. Kevin attended Georgetown Preparatory School and played Soccer, Basketball, and Baseball for the Little Hoyas. While in high school, Kevin spent time in Europe playing soccer and the Dominican Republic playing baseball - laying the foundation for what would later become his vision for United Sports Travel. After graduating from Georgetown Prep, Kevin attended Fordham University in New York where he majored in Political Science and captained the Ram's Baseball Team. Since graduating from Fordham, Kevin has spent the past ten years directing and running camps, clinics, leagues, tournaments, and teams in a variety of sports around the Washington, DC area. Kevin currently serves as the Executive Director of GP Sports Camps - overseeing the operation of 15 different camps throughout the summer. He is also an active member of Beisbol y Libros - a charity providing educational, mentoring, and athletic opportunities to young and aspiring children in Consuelo, Dominican Republic. Kevin is also a graduate of the Disney Institute for People Management. Kevin's belief is that when surrounded by great coaches and mentors, athletics can prove to be one of the most influential and far-reaching experiences for our youth and his vision is that United Sports Travel will foster growth, cultural awareness, and athletic accomplishment through facilitating the dreams of young athletes.

Frans G. Aarts
Lead Advisor - Europe

Frans is a native of the Netherlands and has a wealth of experience coaching, training, and organizing camps, clinics, teams, and tournaments in various sports throughout Europe and the United States. Frans moved to the United States permanently in June 2005. As the Lead Advisor at United Sports Travel, Frans oversees all curriculum development, staff recruitment, trip logistics, and pre-trip trainings and orientation. Frans has coached for over 40 years for prestigious clubs such as FC Etzella (Director of Coaching) in Luxembourg, Bethesda Arsenal (nationally ranked U18) in the US, and currently serves as the Director of Youth Programs for Toca Juniors FC based out of Potomac, Maryland. Frans has a particular expertise in the different locations, great athletic venues, and outstanding coaches and trainers across Europe - all developed from his numerous coaching and camp positions while living overseas. Frans' vision is that United Sports Travel trips are not only fun and culturally engaging but that they give each young athlete the chance to develop and learn to compete on an extremely high level. Frans and his wife, Marie, live in Rockville, Maryland.
